My name is Sara and I come from a small country called Croatia.
I am a 29 year old who enjoys long walks, slow mornings, true crime and a good book. I’ve always been an art enthusiast and have been fascinated and inspired by it.
I spent 3 years studying in Copenhagen, Denmark where I graduated as an Architectural Technologist. What led me to the art of architecture was my love for details, photography and a high school trip to Barcelona where I learned of Antoni Gaudi and his masterpieces.

In recent years, after gaining some knowledge in digital media and several softwares I started using Photoshop and Procreate to draw and pretty quickly I found myself in a world of digital painting. Female characters with elements of nature is what I’m mostly drawn to since nature is another huge inspiration of mine, hence the love for all things Gaudi and his brilliant mind.
Also, creating my own characters and short stories is what makes drawing even more fun. I love to explore with different textures and colours, but I find myself going back to earthy tones. I’m most comfortable with graphite pencil when drawing traditionally but am absolutely in love with acrylics’ texture and watercolours although those are mediums I have yet to explore.
I am currently working as a graphic designer for a company and as an freelance illustrator. So far I had the opportunity to illustrate two children's books, one of which sends an important message of regulating your emotions and what impact they have if you don't. I also enjoy doing personalised drawings. It makes me so fulfilled when I manage to bring someone's idea to life.

I would love to find a way of combining ecology and important ecological issues with drawing and be able to share useful information and raise awareness on some. So, I hope you’ll enjoy following me on my journey
and learn a thing or two with and from me.
